Welcome to Coltishall
Coltishall is situated nine miles north east of Norwich on the River Bure, gateway to the Norfolk Broads. In addition to its beautiful river frontage, part of the Broads Authority, it has wide expanses of common land managed by the Coltishall Commons Management Trust, and much of the village itself is a conservation area.
The Parish Council
The Parish Council consists of up to 11 members who all live in or near Coltishall and Gt Hautbois and represent the parish on various matters. We are effectively the third tier of local government below County and District Councils. We usually meet on the second Tuesday of each month in the Village Hall, Rectory Road, Coltishall.
We have our first face to face meeting since Covid on Monday 12th July at 6.30pm in line with the Government rules to stop the spread of Coronavirus. This will be held outside on the small recreation ground or inside the village hall depending on the weather conditions. Please view our agenda which includes further advice about attending the meeting safely.
